  1. level of equity in the deal
  2. number of properties: you own that are mortgaged, subject property in the loan, and equity in property offered as additional collateral
  3. rents – gross rents, property condition,
  4. minimum loan sizes
  5. how long have you owned the subject property
  6. personal credit score
  7. value of your personal signature: net worth and personal income
  8. location
  9. your business strategy
 

The successful strategy is a 1-5 year strategy and must be accompanied by financial backing, not a 6 – 12 month strategy always barking like a dog scratching for crumbs from every lender you meet.
